PEDAGOGY
We have taught this way since day one. A 2026 Anthropic study (Shen and Tamkin) put numbers to it: learners who stay engaged and build by doing keep their skills, while those who hand the work to AI lose them.
Every concept is earned through a project. No lectures, no passive watching. You build, break and rebuild until the system makes sense from the inside out.
The Anthropic study found AI only helps learners who stay mentally in the loop. Our problem sets are designed to force the question “why does this work?” before “how do I make it work?”
Cohorts solve problems together. Mandatory peer reviews and pair programming mean you teach as much as you learn, and teaching is what cements understanding.
Industry mentors challenge your thinking and review your code. They will not write it for you. The struggle is the point. That is where engineering judgment is built.
